[Our camera has eaten the photos from our last two weeks of sabbatical, so you'll just have to imagine the accompanying photos.]
Shawn's sister, Katie, and her family joined us for our last week in the Dauphin Island beach house. She has boys about the same age as ours and the cousins had fun along with a bit of practice navigating their differences.
This week, Charlie got very wary of going into the ocean because he was worried about crabs and jellyfish. As we assured him that it would be OK, 5-year old cousin Rylan got tangled up with a jellyfish and was pretty miserable for an hour or so. There seems to be no lasting issues except for some pretty mean-looking bruises...and the fact that none of us went swimming our last four days at the beach.
